FLIR is looking for a passionate Full Stack Developer that will join the Acyclica traffic analytics software team. You will be part of a team working on the next generation of improvements for our smart city platform connected to our traffic cameras observing intersections, tunnels, public transportation stations, etc. In a nutshell, the platform provides information and insight necessary to transform mountains of data into actionable information. In the coming years, your contribution would also improve the ability to follow traffic movement by AI-empowered instruments and keep on building smart cities. You will be involved in developing new features and system capabilities within a complex cloud solution that requires cloud web applications. The job involves collaboration with other R&D functions and participating in all software engineering lifecycle phases, including requirements analysis, design and architecture, programming, release and sustaining, and big-data processing at scale.

To be ready to take on this role we would love if you have
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Proficient with Python, JavaScript and C++
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Experience with multi-threading, performance, and optimizations
• Experience developing web applications and services with Django
• Working experience with JavaScript Frameworks such as Angular and ReactJS
• Experience with Unit and Selenium testing
• AWS – Kinesis, Firehose, S3, ElastiCache, Lambda, etc
• Experience from modern DevOps methodology
• Excellent collaboration skills
• Solution orientation and resourcefulness
• A can-do attitude that gets things done
• Experience with Big Data systems – advantage
• Experience in high scale systems – advantage
