8fig is looking for a talented Senior Data Analyst to join our exceptional team, help us continue our rapid growth, and create a better way forward for our customers.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can combine analytical skills with strong technical skills to work with raw data operational DB’s.

Responsibilities

-Supply tools and propose automated solutions to transform information into data.
-Keep great ties with Product, Engineering, and Business units.
-Work directly with the senior management and provide the data and insights to support KPIs and ad-hoc requirements.
-Work with the engineering team to create and maintain the DWH and BI structure at 8fig.

-You have relevant experience in data analytics and creating dashboards and new DBs.
-Your colleagues and stakeholders want you in the room for interesting discussions and important decisions.
-You explain yourself very well to subject matter experts and non-experts alike.
-Your communication skills are part of your trade.

Requirements

-Guru-level knowledge in SQL.
-Expert level in at least 1 dashboarding software (Tableau, Looker, etc)

Nice to have

-Previous positions in the Fintech area, specifically at start-up level companies.
-Specialization in the analysis of payments processes
-Knowledge of git or other version control systems
-Experience with Analytical DBs (Snowflake, Google Big Query, RedShift, HP Vertica, Azure SQL DWH)
-Relevant academic background (advanced studies in Math, Statistics, Psychology, Sociology)
