Responsibilities:
Taking ownership and responsibility over data collection services
Understand, develop, maintain and Monitor Cluster backend server-side code.
Design, plan and execute tasks from start to finish.
Participate in daily meetings. Report your progress and flag blocking issues.
Work closely with Cluster Product Manager to define, estimate and prioritize tasks
Be an active team member and participate in design discussions, learning new technologies, presentations, and planning.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent practical experience.
At least 5 years of experience working with a production-level quality backend-based Java code and/or Typescript.
Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases design and querying (e.g., SQL, MySQL, MongoDb, Elastic Search ).
Experience with modern development tools (JIRA, Git, Jenkins).
Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Scraping techniques.
2 years prior experience in coding and maintaining server-based data pipelines and ETL processes.
Experience using java Vertx toolkit or other reactive programming models such as RxJava/RxJS/Spring Reactor.
Experience using AWS.
